Drawing inspiration from Duke Basketball's "Coach K: Road to 1,000 Wins", this montage captures the defining moments from Paul Rodio’s illustrious 45-year tenure at St. Augustine Prep. Poised to create something special for the legendary coach, I meticulously sifted through hundreds of hours of footage, spanning old tapes, live streams, interviews, and personally-captured footage to curate the perfect clips for this five-minute showcase.
Adding a touch of nostalgia, I used vintage campus images from Coach Rodio's debut year in 1977 to craft a 3D-rendered replica of the old campus, showcased at the video’s onset. Each clip was also reimagined, being upscaled to an ultra-crisp 4K at 60fps, infusing every moment with vibrancy. To immortalize his incredible journey, each clip displays the running win count, juxtaposed with the date and rival team.
